Rawalpindi: An explosive device that arrived from Adiala Jail Road was rendered ineffective by the police and bomb disposal squad.

According to details, the police confirmed the presence of explosive material in the suspicious device and transported it to a field. The bomb disposal squad was immediately called for assistance.

Bomb disposal experts in protective gear from the Special Defense and Bomb Disposal Unit rendered the bomb ineffective. According to the Bomb Disposal Squad commander, the device contained 1200 grams of explosives and was made ineffective. The bomb was placed 100 meters away from gate number 5 of Adiala Jail.

It was revealed that this bomb was linked to Dhaka Sweet Gorkh Pur.

It is worth noting that the Adiala Jail was on high alert, and Judge Abu al-Hasanat reached Adiala Jail with a delay of 1 hour and 40 minutes.
