The trend of the dollar's increase in value continues, reaching 286 rupees in the open market.

Karachi: The trend of the dollar’s increase in value is ongoing in the country. On the first day of the business week, the dollar reached the level of 286 rupees in the open market.

As the business week commenced on Monday, the interbank rate for the dollar started with an increase of 19 paisas, reaching 284.50 rupees. Subsequently, the dollar’s value reached 284.55 rupees with an additional increase of 24 paisas.

In the open market, on the very first day of the business week, the dollar surged by one rupee, reaching 286 rupees.

On the other hand, Pakistan Stock Market has seen a rapid increase from the morning. Business in the stock market started with an increase of 81 points in the market shares, with the KSE-100 Index rising to 53,204 points.

Later on, the PSX recorded a gain of 389 points, causing the KSE-100 Index to reach 53,572 points.
